A moisturising eye cream that includes Red Raspberry Seed Oil is known to be a nice antioxidant and free radical scavenger, resulting in anti-aging functions. It also helps to soothe skin irritation and swelling.
One for All Regenerating Night Cream. 10ml (Full size 50ml for $48)
This night cream is especially nice for combination skin. It includes Rose Geranium oil which calms oily or irritated skin, such as eczema, acne & rashes.
Savory Organic Rose Otto Hydrosol. 20ml (Full size 100ml at $38)
Made from organic Bulgarian roses, this Savory Organic Rose Water is organic and 100% natural with no additives.
Blessingly Pick - St. John’s Wort Oil Calming Day Cream. 15ml (Full size 120ml at $48)
The this day cream includes oil that helps to soothe sunburn and other skin irritations.
The smell of the cream produces a calming effect.
My thoughts?
I have mild sensitive skin hence, I am really excited about to try out their products when I first received it.
After testing it for 2 weeks, my top 3 favourites from this brand are:
1. Freshen Up Seaweed Collagen Water Cream.
I really love how light weight it is for my combination slight oily skin. I can only use gel moisturisers on my face as it gets really oily when I am out running errands during the day.
2. One for All Regenerating Night Cream.
Do not be fooled by the name "Night Cream". Supposedly, the night creams in the market are too thick for my skin and way to oily. However, this night cream's texture is even lighter compared to the Blessingly Pick day cream.
3. Savory Organic Rose Otto Hydrosol.
Works well for me whenever I just finished cleansing my face and I need a little of moisture to ease the tightness of my skin.
The Brand: Basic Theory.
Founded by 2 Singaporean ladies in year 2015.
Their products are inspired by the nature which includes products that they want to include in daily care regime. Fret not about the product contents as, their products are all natural and free from chemical additives.
Basic Theory: Just Earl Grey Polish. 44g (Full size 180g at $18.90)
This body scrub contains organic earl grey tea leaves that are packed with antioxidants, designed to reverse damage to your skin from harmful UV rays.
Basic Theory: Brightening Wash-off scrub & Mask. 5g (Full size 40g at $15.90)
A two-in-one facial scrub and mask with a special formulation of rice bran, brown rice and Frankincense oil that gently exfoliates and brightens up the skin.
Basic Theory: Balancing Facial Toner. 10ml (Full size 150g at $20.90)
Specially formulated for combination to oily skin. Addition of Ylang Ylang oil regularizes sebum production and minimizes occurrence of breakouts. Improves skin texture by aiding in the process of cells regeneration.
Basic Theory: Hydrating Facial Toner. 10ml (Full size 150g at $20.90)
Toner and a face mist specially formulated for normal to dry skin. Addition of Frankincense oil aids in balancing the amount of sebum and moisture secretion, keeping the face looking young and radiant by reducing the appearance of marks and wrinkles.
My Thoughts?
I love the products that I have tried so far. The toners are really just like those spring water mist that were available in the market, light weight and hassle free. Just that these toners has a hint of refreshing scent to it which I absolutely love! I am saving these up for my next trip!
For a tea lover like me, there isn't any reason for me to dislike the Earl Grey polish. And the brightening mask reminds me a lot of the Skinfood Rice Wash Off mask. Both smell heavenly good!
It is really difficult for me to pick my favourite product as I really enjoy experimenting Basic Theory products.
